Meet The SUGOi Team

In 1991, Tim joined the JCW Group (now part of the Four Seasons) and was promoted through the various grades to become Contracts Manager within the Bristol office. He was responsible for the management of the contracts team, overseeing and running contracts ranging from £5K – £2.5 million, whilst gaining vast experience in design and contract management and achieving accreditation to Associate member of CIBSE and Incorporated engineer.

In 2008 Tim joined a Main Contracting firm in Bristol in order to revive the mechanical division and improve turn over and QA procedures within the office.

Outside of Sugoi, Tim enjoys keeping fit (either in the gym or mountain biking), socialising, travelling with his young family and spending time in North Devon building sand castles or surfing.

Following the departure of Tim Harris in 2008, Ben was promoted to Senior Contracts Manager within the Bristol office, gaining vast experience in the procurement and running of larger projects ranging from 5K – 2million and the understanding of company procedures and operations.

In 2010 we founded SUGOi Solutions Ltd (meaning “incredible cool” in Japanese), with the objective of servicing Clients in our own defined manner, taking the best from our combined years of experience. With this in mind we aim to provide a fresh new approach to our Clients and assist in any way to help develop the optimum working relationship.

Outside of Sugoi, Ben enjoys spending time with his young and expanding family, either at home or in South Devon, socialising, jet skiiing or out for long walks with his dog.

Terry joined TMG Heating & Ventilation in 1998, prior to joining SUGOi in 2018. Terry’s role within SUGOi is to provide  tendering and installation of ventilation services in association with air conditioning projects.

Outside of SUGOi, Terry enjoys socialising and long trips out on his power boat. 

Luke joined the SUGOi team in 2020. Luke’s role is to manage the ductwork installation team on site. Luke has 12 Years previous experience within the industry. 

Outside of SUGOi, Luke enjoys cycling and playing golf.

Sara joined SUGOi in March 2025 to control the businesses financial operations and to manage the office.

Outside of SUGOi, Sara enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Steve has joined us as a Business Development Manager. 

Steve comes from a technical background in Mitsubishi where he has spent over 25 years and brings a vast amount of technical knowledge of many products to SUGOi.

Michelle has 4 years administrative experience having previously worked for UKS Group. 

Michelle’s role is to oversee administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the SUGOi office.

Jarrod joined SUGOi in February 2021. Before SUGOi Jarrod studied Plumbing and Heating at Filton College.

Jarrod’s role is to assist Tim and Ben with Estimating.

Outside of SUGOi, Jarrod enjoys spending time with his friends.

Outside of Sugoi, Lee enjoys socialising, dining out, golf, travelling and regular trips to North Devon to surf with his children.

Mike has been with Sugoi for several years and is one of our Senior Engineers.

Outside of work, Mike has a young family that keeps him busy.

Outside of Sugoi, Matthew enjoys socialising, rugby, jet skiing and spending time with his growing family.

Harry joined Sugoi in June 2019. Prior to SUGOi, Harry studied Level 2 Air Conditioning at Radstock College near Bath. Harry’s role is to install, repair and maintain Air Conditioning systems.

Outside of SUGOi, Harry enjoys going to the gym.

Ben joined SUGOi in June 2021. Ben has been promoted to Junior engineer and is now running his own projects!

Oliver joined SUGOi in June 2019. Oliver’s role is to assist SUGOi engineers with installation, maintenance and commissioning of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Charlie is the newest member of the SUGOi on-site team. His role within the team includes assisting the on-site engineer with the installation and delivery of the project, whilst at the same time learning and understanding the trade.
