Meet The SUGOi Team

Tim started as a Student Apprentice in 1986 with Haden Young Ltd (Balfour Beatty) and was trained to Diploma level.

In 1991, Tim joined the JCW Group (now part of the Four Seasons) and was promoted through the various grades to become Contracts Manager within the Bristol office. He was responsible for the management of the contracts team, overseeing and running contracts ranging from £5K – £2.5 million, whilst gaining vast experience in design and contract management and achieving accreditation to Associate member of CIBSE and Incorporated engineer.

In 2008 Tim joined a Main Contracting firm in Bristol in order to revive the mechanical division and improve turn over and QA procedures within the office.

Outside of Sugoi, Tim enjoys keeping fit (either in the gym or mountain biking), socialising, travelling with his young family and spending time in North Devon building sand castles or surfing.

Ben joined the JCW Group in 2001 as Student Apprentice. Following successful completion of his Apprenticeship in which he obtained his National / Higher National and Diploma level in Building Services Engineering, he furthered his career in designing, estimating and running various sized contracts.

Following the departure of Tim Harris in 2008, Ben was promoted to Senior Contracts Manager within the Bristol office, gaining vast experience in the procurement and running of larger projects ranging from 5K – 2million and the understanding of company procedures and operations.

In 2010 we founded SUGOi Solutions Ltd (meaning “incredible cool” in Japanese), with the objective of servicing Clients in our own defined manner, taking the best from our combined years of experience. With this in mind we aim to provide a fresh new approach to our Clients and assist in any way to help develop the optimum working relationship.

Outside of Sugoi, Ben enjoys spending time with his young and expanding family, either at home or in South Devon, socialising, jet skiiing or out for long walks with his dog.

Terry joined TMG Heating & Ventilation in 1998, prior to joining SUGOi in 2018. Terry’s role within SUGOi is to provide  tendering and installation of ventilation services in association with air conditioning projects.

Outside of SUGOi, Terry enjoys socialising and long trips out on his power boat. 

Michelle joined SUGOi in September 2001 to undertake the management of SAGE accounts, including Sub-Contractors and Suppliers payments.

Outside of SUGOi, Michelle enjoys the gym, walking her dog and raising her children.

Stephanie joined SUGOi in December 2014. Before that, she worked within the service department at Nissan Wessex Garages. Stephanie’s role within the team includes, day to day management of the office operations, including general administration, accounts administration and management of business cashflow.

Outside of SUGOi, Stephanie enjoys socialising and time with her young family.

Michelle is the newest member of the SUGOi team. Before SUGOi Michelle worked as an Adminstrator for UKS Group . She has 4 years administrative experience.

Michelle’s role is to oversee administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the SUGOi office.

Jarrod joined SUGOi in February 2021. Before SUGOi Jarrod studied Plumbing and Heating at Filton College.

Jarrod’s role is to assist Josh our Estimating Manager with Tenders. 

Outside of SUGOi, Jarrod enjoys spending time with his friends.

Bradley joined Sugoi in April 2016. Before that, he worked as a manager at Aust Service Station.

Bradley’s role within the team includes, the site management of on-site air conditioning installation.

Outside of Sugoi, Bradley enjoys socialising, dining out, cars and travelling with his girlfriend.

Lee joined Sugoi in March 2010. Before that, he worked as Senior Field Engineer at JCW Air Conditioning. Lee’s role within the team includes, the site management of on-site air conditioning installation, complete with the allocation and distribution of labour. Lee supports Sugoi with the larger projects within the company, where his wealth of experience, ensures that all projects are managed and delivered to exact specification and timescale

Outside of Sugoi, Lee enjoys socialising, dining out, golf, travelling and regular trips to North Devon to surf with his children.

Matthew joined Sugoi in July 2015. Before that, he worked as branch manager at National Windscreens. Matthew’s role within the team includes, the site management of on-site air conditioning installation.

Outside of Sugoi, Matthew enjoys socialising, rugby, jet skiing and spending time with his growing family.

Harry joined Sugoi in June 2019. Before that, he was a level 2 Air Conditioning student at Radstock College near Bath. Harry’s role within the team includes, assisting the on-site engineer with the installation and delivery of the project, whilst at the same time learning and understanding the trade.

Outside of Sugoi, Harry enjoys socialising, his car.

Dean recently joined SUGOi in January 2021. Dean’s role is to assist SUGOi engineers with installation, maintenance and commissioning of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Outside of SUGOi, Dean enjoys socialising with his friends.

Ben recently joined SUGOi in June 2021. Ben’s role is to assist SUGOi engineers with installation, maintenance and commissioning of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Oliver joined SUGOi in June 2019. Oliver’s role is to assist SUGOi engineers with installation, maintenance and commissioning of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
